KMA is a voluntary membership organization open to all medical practitioners registered in the Republic of Kenya. It is organized into 14 Divisions around the country. KMA was founded in 1968 to promote the practice of medicine in Kenya, uphold high standards of medical ethics and advise the Government and the general public on matters related to health, advocate for the welfare of doctors and support Continuing Professional Development (CPD) through periodic publications, seminars and scientific conferences.
